Who It Suits and What to Know

Sea Eagle Tour’s speedboat day is a Phi Phi day from Krabi with long stops: 50 minutes of free time on Maya Bay, 45 minutes in Pileh Lagoon, 40 minutes snorkelling off Phi Phi Leh, Viking Cave and Monkey Bay, an hour’s lunch on Phi Phi Don and an hour on Bamboo Island. Rated 4.4 from 3,925 reviews. It takes about 7 hours.

Who it suits: travellers who want more time at each stop, and guests staying on Railay, who board at the Railay East floating pier. Who should look elsewhere: children under 3, pregnant travellers and people with back or heart problems (the day is not suitable for them), and guests at Tonsai Bay or Centara Grand, where there is no pickup.

What to know before you book:

  • Pickup. Round-trip hotel transfers in the Krabi town area, Klong Muang, Ao Nang and Nong Thale, and the Railay East floating pier; not near the airport, the bus terminal or Krabi’s old town.
  • The crossing. About 45 minutes out and 35 minutes back to Ao Nang.
  • The stops. Loh Samah Bay, Maya Bay (50 minutes), Pileh Lagoon (45 minutes), a swim and snorkel off Phi Phi Leh (40 minutes), Viking Cave and Monkey Bay from the boat, lunch on Phi Phi Don (an hour), Bamboo Island (an hour). The order changes with tides and weather.
  • Included. Transfers, a guide, water and fruit, a buffet lunch with halal and vegetarian choices, snorkelling gear, a life jacket and insurance.
  • Extra. The national park fee, 400 baht an adult and 200 baht a child (checked November 2026), paid at the point of entry; a longtail ride inside Pileh Lagoon, sold on the spot; tips.
  • Maya Bay. Swimming and snorkelling there are not allowed. Maya Bay, Loh Samah Bay and Ao Lo Ko are closed every year from 1 August to 30 September, and in those months the day runs without them.

The price is from US$47 a person (checked November 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Phi Phi Don vs Phi Phi Leh explains what you see on each island.
